Double Headliner
Harry hook is real is the fearless new incarnation of ARIA-nominated songwriter Harry Hookey, an artist known for his lyrical depth, magnetic performances, and unwavering authenticity. With roots planted deep in Gippsland, Victoria, Haz draws from the raw beauty and contradictions of regional life to create music that is poetic, funny, and emotionally potent.
Formerly touring under his birth name, Harry has shared stages with Australian icons including Paul Kelly, Busby Marou, The Waifs, and Kasey Chambers, earning widespread acclaim for his vivid storytelling and genre-bending songwriting. A longtime protégé and collaborator of Bill Chambers, the two have toured extensively, written and recorded together, and built a musical bond that has spanned years.
Now, after a five-year hiatus and for the first time since the pandemic, harry hook is real and Bill Chambers will reunite for a one-off show at Glengarry Hall (Live at the Glen)—a night that promises grit, grace, and everything in between.
Bill decided at 7 yrs of age he would be a musician one day.
‘I had dreams of touring the world playing music. That dream has taken me to Europe, UK, Norway, Sweden, Africa, USA and all over Australia, either performing solo or playing guitar in my daughter Kasey’s band. These days Bill tours with his young son Tyler and acoustic electric guitar. They play anything from house concerts, bars, coffee houses and
festivals, sharing their unique style of folk/rock/blues/country music to audiences of all ages.
